I was vey proud of both Clover and Tansy at the 2011 NADAC Championships in Springfield, Illinois, October 10-16. Both dogs did well traveling for the two very long days of driving (1,445 miles). The facilities were very nice at the State Fair grounds and both arenas had the best surface I have run on at an agility trial.

Clover ran very well and fast. We had some awesome runs in both pre-champs and champs. Clover earned a 3rd place in round two (DRI of 103.05) and a 6th place in round 7. If she had not knocked a bar in round 7, she would have taken first place with the second fastest time of the 40 16-inch standard dogs. In a Touch N Go run in pre-champs, Clover earned her fastest DRI ever of 109.23, and second fastest DRI of 107.64  in a pre-champs Tunnelers run.

Tansy was my shining star. A year ago, October, Tansy had run out of the ring at the Helena trial to hide in her crate due to fears of loud noise. In Springfield, she was full of confidence, earning two Tunneler Q’s, a Touch N Go Q and three good runs in EGC during pre-champs. Tansy was entered on a team for the team events at championships. Our team did not earn any ribbons finishing in the middle of the pack, but Tansy ran her sections with confidence and speed.

Lark Pollari

Derby and I  competed at the 2011 Championships in Springfield, Illinois. She competed in the 8" group as a skilled veteran dog now that she is eight years old.

Derby won round seven of Regular with a DRI of 91.65. She had two bobbles (handler error...lol) but ended up with a clean run. It was amazing.

Derby also ended up winning third place overall after six rounds in the World Games Challenge. She earned points in extreme Gaters but rocked in Extreme Hoopers earning 134.18 points in one round and 98.49 in another round.

This was by far Derby's best Championships and I am very happy that she and I have been part of GDAC since she started agility!
